Stage 2 Paint Correction is suited to cars that have moderate swirl marks and light scratches and involves using 2 different polish and pad combinations; the first step is generally a cutting (abrasive) polish, to remove imperfections such as swirl marks, light scratches and other moderate paint defects.
Description
Removes deeper wash/dry marring and a variety of other light to medium defects within the paint. First step of the process will remove the defec, second will restore the clarity. Ideal for any color vehicle in good-fair condition.
Wet sanding can be used on new paint to provide an even finish and remove what is commonly referred to as the “orange peel” effect, where the paint appears to have the texture of an orange skin. On existing paint, it can be used to remove scuffs or shallow scratches or restore the luster of the paint. Wet sanding can cause damage to the paint of the vehicle if not done correctly, so take your time as you progress through the processts
Results will be a substantial increase in gloss and clarity due to the removal of the paint imperfections.
Minimum requirement for dark colored vehicles prior to any applied protection.
